In 1986, graduated from Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) with a degree in Cybernetics of Electric Systems.

PhD in Technical Sciences.

From 1999 to 2004, Head of Export Division, RAO UES of Russia.

From 2004 to 2006, Deputy Managing Director of Grid Business Unit and Head of Project Team for foreign economic activity, OAO RAO UES of Russia.

From 2006 to 2008, held the position of Deputy Managing Director and Head of Project Team for the development of feasibility study to increase export of electric power to China, OAO RAO UES of Russia.

Since April 2007, CEO, JSC Eastern Energy Company.

Since May 2008, Member of the Management Board and Head of the Geographical Division "Central Asia - the Far East" of OJSC INTER RAO UES.
