Corporate ratings of JSC RusHydro

The Standard&Poor’s corporate governance rating service has awarded a score of 5 to JSC RusHydro under its corporate governance scores (CGS). At the same time, Standard&Poor’s awarded the company a Russian scale score of 5.2.

The key positive factors in the JSC RusHydro corporate governance practice are as follows:

·         The process of company consolidation is transparent and the procedures are institutionalized and comprehensible for investors;

·         The consolidation should raise the yield on investment of minority shareholders in JSC RusHydro subsidiary companies, since they will acquire shares in a bigger and more liquid company;

·         The company’s management demonstrates a positive and fair attitude towards external investors;

·         JSC RusHydro has been publishing audited IFRS-based financial statements since 2006 and maintains a quite informative website.
