In June of 2013, RusHydro, RAO Energy Systems of the East and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd signed the agreement on construction of a plant that will produce liquefied hydrogen in the Russian Far East. RusHydro Group together with Kawasaki Heavy Industries plan to produce liquefied hydrogen in Magadan region with its further transportation to Japan.
