American Depository receipts (ADR)

American Depository receipts (DRs) are the derivative equities, being traded on foreign markets, certifying its holders rights for the respective amount of local securities.

American Depository Receipts can be acquired by all investors categories (any individuals and corporations) from all countries, including USA.

On the 7th of August 2009 PJSC RusHydro converted its Regulation S GDRs Into Over the Counter (OTC) — Traded ADRs.

As part of the launch of the new Level 1 ADR program, JSC RusHydro's existing Regulation S GDR program has been terminated, all Regulation S GDR holders receive the appropriate quantity of Level 1 ADRs.
