Global Depository receipts (GDR)

Global depository receipts (GDRs) are the derivative equities, being traded on foreign markets, certifying its holders rights for the respective amount of local securities.

Global Depository Receipts (144A) can be acquired only by US "professional" investors.

PJSC RusHydro DRs (144A GDRs and Reg. S GDRs), certifying rights in relation to ordinary registered shares of PJSC RusHydro were issued by the Bank of New York Mellon in accordance with foreign law.

On the 7th of August 2009 PJSC RusHydro converted its Regulation S GDRs Into Over the Counter (OTC) — Traded ADRs.
