RusHydro and Sollers will launch EV car sharing in Vladivostok
October 13, 2022, Moscow, Russia. PJSC RusHydro (ticker symbol: MOEX, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY) and Sollers Group reached an agreement to launch a joint car sharing network in Vladivostok. Viktor Khamarin, Chairman of the Management Board, General Direcotor of RusHydro and Vadim Shvetsov, General Director of Sollers Group singed the agreement at the Russian Energy Week International Forum in Moscow.
EV car sharing service will go live by the summer of 2022. The EV fleet will include 140 vehicles by the end of 2023. RusHydro already operates the largest EV charging network in the Far East. Sollers Group, on the other hand, has significant expertise in the automobile industry and offers engineering of parking areas in Vladivostok as well as installation state-of-the-art software for commercial vehicles.
The launch of EV car sharing not only marks another step for RusHydro in development of its EV charging network but also offers Vladivostok residents affordable environment-friendly services by creating additional jobs and contributing to the government’s program on advanced development of infrastructure in the Far Eastern Federal District.
