By creating conditions and opportunities for sustainable development in the regions of its presence, RusHydro contributes to the growth of the Russian Federation's spiritual, scientific, technical and intellectual potential.

RusHydro carries out charitable activities as a company with responsible attitude to reduction of its environmental impact and pays much attention to ecological charity projects and actions.

The main principles for the implementation of the charitable program are transparency, targeting and efficiency of the use of funds.

For over 10 years RusHydro has been actively developing its corporate volunteer movement. Every year it brings together more and more thoughtful employees of the Company at volunteer charitable events throughout Russia.

One of the priority areas of the charitable activity of the company is assistance to higher educational institutions, primarily specialized ones. Support of educational institutions includes both renovation of their material and technical base and implementation of educational projects.

As part of the "Healthcare" direction RusHydro annually equips maternity hospitals, perinatal centers and maternity departments of hospitals in the cities of presence with necessary modern medical equipment.

The company provides constant support to sports organizations focused both on development of children's and youth sports and sports of high achievements, cultural organizations, social institutions, charity funds and non-profit organizations.

Every year the RusHydro Group implements over 600 socially significant charitable projects. This is our contribution to the present and future of Russia.
