RusHydro actively promotes physical culture and mass sports. Charity projects are aimed at promotion of sport and healthy way of life, construction, repair and equipment of sports facilities.

As part of the long-term cooperation program, RusHydro supports a number of sports federations and associations.

More than 35 sport schools and sections in water sports, combat sports, soccer, basketball, hockey, skiing, tennis and chess received financial support in the regions of presence of the RusHydro Group. Thanks to the assistance of the Company sports equipment and outfit for athletes was purchased. Funding was allocated for organization and holding of sports competitions and training camps in volleyball, free wrestling, chess, swimming, running, boxing, sambo, judo, Thai boxing, children soccer, tennis, basketball, Greco-Roman wrestling, competitions on trampoline and acrobatic track, participation of athletes in tournaments.

RusHydro continues supporting the activity of the Far Eastern branch of Dinamo children and youth soccer academy named after Lev Yashin, opened with the company's support in 2021. RusHydro allocates funding for the soccer academy, the purchase of equipment, sports gear and participation of students in Russian tournaments.
